About Josh
Josh is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Director of Hex Health. He holds a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Human Movement with Honours. Across more than a decade in private practice, he has worked with people living with disability, persistent pain, neurological conditions, cancer, workplace and transport injuries, and complex chronic disease.
His approach is curious, practical and collaborative. Josh is less interested in handing someone a perfect exercise sheet than understanding why movement has not fitted before. Sometimes the barrier is pain or fatigue. Sometimes it is confidence, sensory overload, fear, a previous bad experience or a life already carrying too much. The plan has to account for all of it.
Outside the clinic, Josh is heavily involved in local sport and coaching. That coaching mindset carries into his clinical work: meet the person where they are, find the next useful challenge and build genuine belief through experiences of success. For Josh, the best outcome is not a number on a test. It is the moment someone realises they can do more of the life they care about.
