Think of an exercise physiologist as the expert in exercise and getting behaviour change. They understand everything from injuries, to cardiac disease all the way through to cancer or your weekend warrior. With a minimum 4 years of tertiary education and 500 hours of clinical placement, they are the specialist in exercise prescription and exercise rehabilitation. They also have an exercise science background so train sports specific individuals!

What you can expect on your visit – Your initial appointment will last 45 minutes, where the exercise physiologist will make you feel comfortable, get to the root of your health goals or your challenges, and devise an individualised training program that fits with your life to address your needs. They’ll also do some assessments that will guide their treatment. You’ll never get given exercises that you can’t do, and you’ll always feel comfortable with Hex Health’s EP’s. We want you to love your session with our EP’s and we want to know if you don’t.

Why exercise -  At Hex Health, we believe everyone across their lifespan should be exercising. If you’ve got chronic conditions or injuries, it’s a matter of finding the right exercise! That's where we step in.  And, if you are uninjured and healthy – exercising will ensure that you stay that way, add years to your life and be able to do the things you love!
