A dietitian is a university-trained health professional who can interpret and translate nutritional science into practical advice. Dietitians can assist you to develop a good relationship with food and support you in the dietary management of a range of health and wellbeing related issues including, but not limited to, weight management, diabetes, heart disease, irritable bowel disease, allergies and intolerances.

Dietitians can also assist you in meal planning, recipe modification and meal ideas that suit your lifestyle and time constraints. We take out the guesswork, and prescribe food as medicine, to get you performing at your best.

What to expect at your first appointment: Your first appointment will be a 45 minute session where your dietitian will find out a little more about you, including your medical history, medications, activity levels, weight history and digestion. Most importantly, we will discuss your goals and motivations and tailor the session accordingly. We will discuss your current food choices and preferences and discuss ways to modify these according to your goals.
